All students have access to appropriate pathways and so that we are developing the skills required for employment and life beyond Monkseaton High School. Our aim is to foster confident and successful learners by developing their attitude to learning and learning habits alongside their knowledge and skills.

Despite the school being smaller than average we are committed to ensuring our students continue to follow a broad and balanced curriculum that enables them to achieve success. Over the past 4 years our contextual outcomes show it is increasingly matched to the needs of students. The curriculum has been designed to ensure it caters for the individual needs of all our students as well as being tailored for each individual year group, including the 6th form.
