Welcome!

Our Sixth Form is made up of students who have progressed from our lower school and many other schools in the local area and beyond. Many students join us for our nationally recognised Football Academy which is an opportunity for students to play football at a national level alongside their studies. Students also come to Monkseaton to access our vocational courses as we achieve outstanding results and they continue to be very popular. Still more students choose to join us because of our focus on personalised teaching and learning, and the friendly atmosphere of a small school Sixth Form. Whatever your reason, we are happy that you are considering Monkseaton High School for Post-16 study.

We welcome applications from anyone who is interested in joining us and every student who enrols into our Sixth Form will meet the Sixth Form Team on a one to one basis to explore Post 16 options at the school.
