Baseline evaluation of students starting points. Elements of solo and group performance along with composition and music appraisal.
Year Two Half Term One
CREATE – Trial and Evaluation
Students will start component two this final term and work on getting the majority of the work completed. Students will have to monitor and write up their rehearsals in practice logs and also keep a check on their personal and professional skills.
Year One Half Term Three
CREATE - Explore
Exploring 2 genres of choice for the coursework element of component one. Students will research each genre and complete several tasks relating to these.
Year Two Half Term Three
CREATE - Explore
Exploring the brief given by the exam board and getting the students to complete an initial response to the brief along with justification and time to work on their product.
Year One Half Term Five
CREATE – Trial and Evaluate
Students will start component two this final term and work on getting the majority of the work completed. Students will have to monitor and write up their rehearsals in practice logs and also keep a check on their personal and professional skills.
Year One Half Term Two
CREATE - Research

Students will use this half term to finish any work needed for component one and will set up the basics for component two.

Final completion of component 3 along with DIRT time to finish off any component 1 and 2 work that needs editing.
