As 1600 schools now have copies of our course, we think it is important to keep testing our materials and to improve and update them. As part of our evaluation , the CEM Centre of Durham University has recently completed a detailed analysis of data collected from 11 schools using the course and entering children for Asset Languages tests at Breakthrough Stage in French. The published report shows that the methodology used in the course embodying the KS2 Framework for Languages enables children to make significantly higher progress.
If you are a researcher and you would like a copy of the report or a data set, please contact me on 96butlerm@monkseaton.org.uk If you do interrogate the data and draw any interesting conclusions, please share them with us.
